Testing: Please give me your ideas on the industrial sector discussion. Shoud we narrow down it to a few important topics, say 06 or something. Or, we should have many topics.

I have some bad news. My visit next week is likely to fall on THURSDAY and not friday as expected. So is there any possibility to revert back to Friday?

In the meantime I will TRY to get it changed.

SORRY FOR THIS UNEXPECTED TURN OF EVENTS.

Am getting a list of potential participant/ sponsorship list from Vijitha (Port Authority) on or before June 9. Shall send the list to SKS then.

"Word Verification" gives me great trouble. If it is the same (or similar) with others, we may remove it.

What do you think of "EngforIndustry2008" with "for" appearing as subscript in small size?

One more thing. Please write your names below the message.

I will look into "word verification" and GMT time (as Sarath suggested) very soon.

For the course on wind, solar energy etc.. the topic could be "making efficient use of Natures' energy".

For the round table discussion on nanotech, one of the subtopics could be on Solar cells. Many are working at it here. Alternative power saving methods through nanotech could be sought. NSF/PGIS could assist us in this both financially and technically.
For the topic on consumerism, Present Sri Lankan consumerism, Manufacturers, retailers attitude towards sustainable consumerism, Green Consumerism and Business models, Government Policy towards promoting sustainable consumer behaviour could be discussed. Marketers and manufacturers from industries can be the participants.
Do we really have to go for 500 people? I think 150-200 would be appropriate.
